Luis Suarez Ajax missing the next few days. The attacker has traveled to Barcelona, where his wife is hoping to give birth to their first child. Suarez returns on time back in Amsterdam for the match in the preliminary round of the Champions League, Wednesday against PAOK Salonika.
"The game against PAOK? Of course I am, no problem,''said Suarez against Ajax TV. "I want to play Champions League with Ajax. I'll be back as soon as possible, but my family is also important. I'm almost dad, but my wife has pain in her abdomen. Sunday or Monday I'm sure that I'm back, but for the Open Day and Chelsea I do not know.''
Ajax play the last exhibition game Friday against Chelsea in the preparation. That game will coincide with the opening days of the club.
